The nurses are wonderful and very helpful when it comes to the procedures being done however my one complaint is the scheduling. Doctor gets there after a certain time and it takes hours for something to get done. Also the follow ups by phone, I can't wait around for someone to show up on the video. They schedule say at 2 but NO ONE shows up for a whole hour, I got things to do

While the front desk staff is wonderful, the overall visit was not good. I waited 2 hours to see Dr. Once he did come in to see me, he did not listen to me, he made his own judgements on what was wrong with me. When I was done with visit, I was ushered to an appt station where I was scheduled for 3 follow up visits!! I feel this is just a place that preys on insurance and does nothing for the patient. Beware!

First the good; I have had very good care from the Dr and nurses from the initial assessment to PT and my first injection. The injection worked wonders. I was initially sent to Optimum Pain. I checked in with Optimum Pain every week for 3 months, at which time they told me that they did not take my insurance. I was then referred to the South Texas Clinic for Pain where I was seen within days. There are a lot of patients and there are some long wait times, but that is a small price to pay for getting an appointment so quickly. There are a few things that could be improved. The cleanliness wasn't the best, though maybe understandable with the sheer number of patients they see. Also, the pre-procedure instructions were given the morning of the procedure. The one thing that I took a star away for was one nurse that was asking patient's if they had a phone and then helping them to download a review app. He then reached in and clicked on the 5 star review and said, that's it. It made me very uncomfortable. Also, is it even legal? I saw him do the same thing with at least 8 other patients. If it wasn't for that nurse I would have given 5 stars.

The staff is absolutely AMAZING and very very respectful and compassionate with patients especially a nurse by my the name of EDGAR (HE IS AMAZING such a valuable Nurse👏🤩) The only important thing when I bring my mom is that she is waiting a VERY LONG LONG TIME, and I see my mother aswell as some many elderly people sick tired and waiting for Dr whom is not even in office but when he does arrive is Rushing to do all these people’s procedures. I have brought my mom as early as 8:30 and leave as late as 5:30 due to waiting on the Dr…. So I rate the staff a 5 PLUS for putting up with patient’s frustration -minus1 for DR Timing and a 2 for procedures. I hate to give a low star but something needs to be done to improve, I really hate seeing these poor elderly people waiting in hallways for a 1-2 minutes procedure.

This place is a joke. First they’ll take your money, get you in give you a room then your on your own until the dr Rashid comes in at about 12 noon mind you I’ve gotten here since 8 am. He comes in gives you the shot and leaves. No how are you doing, feeling or anything. Just got word about a knee brace they ordered for me cost to my insurance was $1000 this is ridiculous. Need to get ahold of Texas Medical Board it be worth them looking into this clown. I’m typing this as one of the employees came and asked if I’d be interested in giving a rating as he help me open this app he filled it out and gave it a 5 star then thanked me and said we are done. I changed it and made a true comment about evaluating this place. I feel ashamed that to open you have to at least hit the one star. Anyone have any suggestions on who is truly dedicated to doing people right and not just ripping off the patients and their insurance………… UPDATE !!!!!!!! I am in my car typing this update he decided to run me off because of my true comments like the survey says asking for Opinions and I’m true to what I feel. He confronts me about what I stated and I explained to him how I felt and he was not happy with my opinion. He then comes back because the nurse that opened up this app keyed in on the 5 star then gave it to me and left. I then gave them the 1 star because that was the only way I could comment. They also didn’t want to give me the nurses name and was asked to leave his office. I was escorted out. Sorry that they expect positive comments but theirs only a few that really speak their mind for ourselves and others. I stand behind my opinion.
