“Very poor and totally unacceptable care. I went to Penn Pain Management due to severe upper back pain. The "trigger point" injections I received were not explained. I mistakenly assumed that I would be getting cortisone injections. I was injected (painfully) with at least 6 injections, and I was not told that they were lidocaine or another numbing medication. I got ABSOLUTELY NO PAIN RELIEF!! Totally unacceptable care, and I will follow up with Penn Patient Relations. I do NOT recommend Dr. Southren.”
