Born and raised in West Memphis, Arkansas, Dr. Fletcher’s educational journey began at Harding University where he earned his B.S. degree in Biochemistry in 1987. He furthered his education by obtaining a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Arkansas in 1993.

His scientific career includes a prestigious two-year post-doctoral research position at the City of Hope Beckman Research Institute in Duarte, California, where he studied Alzheimer’s Disease. Dr. Fletcher then served four years as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Harding University before pursuing his medical education.

In 2003, Dr. Fletcher received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He completed his residency training in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at UAMS, providing him with specialized expertise in pain management techniques and interventions.
