“I had 3 level ACDF surgery 9 months ago in another state and have since moved to NC. My entire process from telling my PCP about my pain to surgery, took about 5 months; PT, MRI, X-rays, day of surgery, (no pain management) etc. My pain sadly started back around Thanksgiving and I knew what it was and am not really happy but here I am. From making it known to my Dr., I JUST went to ECPC today but on par with everything, due to wonderful insurance, gotta wait for that injection! I've done most of the work basically from start, and can't say I'm thrilled about the ECU health system, but ECPC was probably one of my most favorite and best medical appointments ever. After a fairy long wait for everything I've done before coming here, I was shocked to be called Tuesday for an appointment Thursday. I was adamant about no injections, but I have to have some relief and pray I don't regret changing my mind. I hope the rest of this long road is as easy of a time as I had today.
