About Nashville Pain Center

Nashville Pain Center is a pain management clinic located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, serving patients across the greater Nashville metropolitan area. The clinic holds a 4.7 out of 5 rating and has been providing care to people living with chronic and complex pain conditions since at least 2001. The clinic's team includes Dr. Yelameli, a physician specializing in interventional pain management, and Christie, a nurse practitioner who focuses on medication management and general pain care consultations.

Treatment Approach

Nashville Pain Center offers a broad range of services that may help people manage pain that affects their daily lives. Procedures are performed under X-ray and ultrasound guidance, which supports accuracy during treatment. The clinic is reported to be the only facility within approximately 60 miles offering intrathecal drug delivery systems, commonly called pain pumps, making it a regional option for people with more complex pain needs.

Services available at the clinic include:

  • Interventional pain management and injection procedures
  • Spinal cord stimulation
  • Intrathecal drug delivery systems (pain pumps)
  • Radiofrequency ablation
  • Regenerative medicine
  • Implant surgeries
  • Medication management
  • Consultation services

Patients should be aware that medication management and injection procedures are scheduled as separate visits, which may affect scheduling for those who need both services.

What Patients Can Expect

Reviewers describe the staff as friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. Patients note that Christie communicates thoroughly and takes time to address concerns, while Dr. Yelameli is recognized for a gentle injection technique and availability outside of standard appointment hours when needed. Long-term patient retention is notable, with some reviewers reporting continued care spanning nearly a decade or more.

The clinic is fully wheelchair accessible, including the entrance, parking lot, and washroom. Appointments are required, and emergency appointments may be available. The clinic accepts credit cards, debit cards, and NFC mobile payments for billing convenience.

What Patients Say

Patients at Nashville Pain Center in Murfreesboro generally describe a care experience that feels personal and consistent over time. Reviewers frequently mention NP Christie by name, praising her compassion, thoroughness, and ability to communicate clearly about treatment plans. Dr. Yelameli is noted for a gentle injection technique and a willingness to perform procedures outside of regular hours when needed. Several patients mention returning to the practice for many years, which speaks to a level of trust built through ongoing care. That said, patients often mention challenges on the administrative side. New patients in particular report difficulty reaching staff by phone, with voicemails sometimes going unreturned. Reviewers also note that wait times for injection appointments can stretch to several hours, and the requirement to schedule medications and injections as separate visits adds meaningful travel and recovery burdens, especially for those coming from a distance. One reviewer raised a concern about how a discharge was handled, describing the experience as retaliatory. Overall, reviewers tend to distinguish between the clinical team, which receives consistent appreciation, and the operational experience, which draws more mixed feedback. The practice holds a 4.7 out of 5 rating across 135 reviews.

Patient Testimonials

Do not recommend. New patients are not welcome here as I have called multiple times and noone wanted to assist. They would not request records as the previous Dr demanded. I even faxed the "required" discharge papers and they have yet to call me even after I filled out the painful new patient online form. They barely answer the phone and do not return voicemails. Their focus is def not patient care or patient's well being.

People are nice enough but you must be seen for meds and then you have to be seen for injections. Its 3 hours one way .it takes me 2 full days to recover from my visit . I have to go Tuesday for meds and then again on Wednesday for injections. Its going to be unreal pain even with my medicine.

This so called Doctor is a JOKE!! Due to his false patient reports, my wife is unable to receive the much needed help she needs! Please I suggest that anyone needing a pain management group, Please Stay away from this office. Because if you question him in anyway , and decide to leave he will write a bad report on your discharge letter! So be aware!!! KB

I been going to Nashville Pain for almost 3 years. Crissy is very nice and listen to me. The head doctor who does the injections is very good and gentle. I would recommend them. Besides, there's no other place people can go for their pain in Nashville and beyond for at least 60 miles. The only thing I can say negative is you'll wait for a couple of hours for a in injection. They should see regular appointments one day and all the procedures on another day. Not all on the same day.
