“I was referred to Dr. Tavel by my General Practioner for Sciatic nerve pain. After not hearing from the office I called and was told that I was not a candidate and could not get an appointment. The irony of this is that I have seen Dr. Tavel on numerous occasions for Sciatic Nerve pain, have received numerous epidural injection, and at least 2 rhizotomies, the last one being in March 2017. With my good luck of almost 10 years, I thought if he could give me a rhizotomy, I could be pain free for life. Now it was determined I was not a good candidate.????”

“THIS HOSPITAL IS RUN BY AN INCOMPETENT AND IN DENIAL ADMINISTRATION. The "nurses" standards are literally not just below the bar but on the floor. Information was severely misrepresented with no clear explanations as to why. I am here advocating for my fathers stage four cancer side affects of neuropathy. IF YOU CAN GET A REFERRAL TO ANY OTHER NEUROLOGICAL PRACTICE PLEASE DO IT. I've read excellent reviews about Tidewater and if this misinformation and nonexistent follow up from administration and the nursing line continues we will be heading there. This is not the level of care anyone should be subjected to when they are in pain, especially if they don't have a daughter to help them receive actual care without being riddled by lack of communication and clear goals to improve patient care. This is our fifth visit and our nurse told us to just "move on" when so many patients are afraid or unable to speak up on their lack of bed side manner and answers simple paperwork questions. Their Chief Operations Officer has not responded to multiple phone calls, emails, and missed an in person meeting after she could not give us the paperwork she was fully confident to provide EOD a month ago. Their Board consists of one doctor so our next step will be contacting Doctor Tavel.”
