Patient Testimonials
“The staff at Premier Pain Centers are far more patient oriented than clinics I've been treated by in the past. Living with multiple spinal conditions and chronic pain, it's incredibly important to have people that treat YOU as a person, and not just another case file. If you're looking for more than just the perfunctory bare minimum of care, and a staff just looking for ways to make the clinic money whether it helps you or not, please consider a visit to Premier Pain Centers, and perhaps it will be the change you needed. It has made a difference for me. With my chronic pain being managed, and a slow regimen of exercise and activity, I look forward to at least a better quality of life than I had a year ago!”

“I had been doing really stable on my medication, which was keeping me working and out of ER, but then a different Dr, Dr. Ali, came and lowered my meds. The next appt the other Dr Z bumped it up. Then, I saw the other doctor, Dr. Ali, and he was insistent that i saw him at another location and he took me off of it. While I’ve been to the other location before, it had been a long time since then. I can’t deal with drs that don’t agree. Also, that dr hadn’t seen me in months prior to this. Everyone in the waiting room also talked about how this dr came in and lowered their meds. I was then taken off one of my pain meds cold turkey (mind you I had been on it for years). Also Dr. Ali has terrible bedside (Dr z was amazing) manner. I’ve seen him yell at both patients and staff. There is no reason to yell at a patient. I didn’t do anything wrong and I was never aggressive or anything. My pcp took over my pain mgmt now and I’m doing much better. If you come here, try to stick with one doctor. Having the drs butt heads was really frustrating.”

“Premier Pain Dr.Ali is amazing. He has done allot for me and for my pain. I have had LTKR and the nerve damage was very extreme. Dr.Ali has navigated me through getting my life back. The Nalu nerve stimulator has stopped allot of my pain and I can function for my daily living. Thank you Dr.Ali and staff for always being there.”

“What I have found after decades of disabling pain and treatment from pain centers is to not over expect miracles from medicines and doctors, be satisfied with taking the sharp edge of pain away, and set a proactive course for yourself in guiding the schedules you will need to keep meds filled, run out of good medicine and you will quickly see why it’s necessary to do your part. Know the dates to contact who ever refills the medicine at the pain care, no ahead of time what day to call, I am only able to keep up by using the “Google Calendar”, call in 3 days prior, don’t leave room for error, it will happen. I used to be infuriated when I had to go one, two, seven days waiting for refills to be called in, suffering withdrawal growing worse with each passing day, yes in a perfect world a patient shouldn’t have to follow up on a pain care clinic doing refills on pain medicine after they have been prescribed by a paying suffering patient, I tried guilting, teaching and complaining in hopes their schedule and nurse would perfectly click into a rhythm month after month but found that hope was based in fantasy land. Doctors and nurses are over whelmed with time consuming work regarding one patient let alone the numbers they have to see to justify what they invest in schooling etc. to be where they are. A new patient, maybe recently injured, what ever, will have no idea what’s all involved but those of us who have ran the hammer for decades ought to know what’s it will take to be in sync with your doctor if you want the results of pain care allowing you to lead as close to a normal life as possible. So set your self up a system, mark your digital calendar as soon as you are given a scheduled appointment date, or when a prescribed med will run out, set the alarm, check every day where you are in time knowing days in advance when and who to call, don’t rely on them alone. With proper input as a patient and select the best doctor, clinic etc. and leading a productive life not destroyed by pain is an achievable goal. It’s not easy, but being disabled is guaranteed not to be easy in any way. there are terrible slack doctors out there getting rich not truly caring about your pain but in reality “Premier Pain Care” in Richardson really does have people with a heart who care, but their just humans, you’ve got to do your part. In every clinic there’s one worker who is on the dark side, couldn’t care less about you and I think will actually hinder your ability to get medicine after you get on there bad side from being pushy about keeping them on track. I have experienced this with one individual here repeatedly, phone calls not recorded, messages erased and refills intentionally not called in, this person caused me a lot of heart ache and except for a conversation and plan with the office manager who stepped in the situation would have driven me to a different clinic. Time will tell whether this was a one seasonal situation, maybe I was rude and made an enemy, maybe lots of folks are experiencing the same, I don’t know. But for now I endorse this clinic and Doctors, every one else there is exceptional. Particularly Sanea Kahn who helped me straitened out that situation and took time to explain what my part needed to be to help keep medicine on track. I won’t mention the name of girl who month after month gave me problems until I wised up and kept records etc. and went in person there to straitened everything out. In life we don’t get what we want but with effort we get something usually better, and good people are the main part of that. If you read this far you must relate some how to what I go through. Stay diligent, don’t despair as I did, with effort and this clinic particularly you can handle chronic pain but it will take some work and some good doctors, not to mention you better have good insurance but that for a different review. I am giving 5 stars to “Premier Pain Center” reflecting recent interactions I have had with them.”
