Treatment Approach

The clinic offers a range of services designed to address pain from multiple angles. Rather than relying on a single method, the care team works to build a plan tailored to each person's needs. Services that may help patients manage pain and improve daily function include:

  • Pain management services — evaluation and ongoing care for a variety of pain conditions
  • Surgical services — procedural options that may help when other treatments have not provided enough relief
  • Medication management — careful oversight of pain-related medications to support safety and effectiveness
  • Physical therapy — hands-on and movement-based care that may help restore function and reduce discomfort

Reviewers frequently note thorough care and describe the doctors as knowledgeable and attentive. Patients describe feeling heard during their visits and report that their treatment plans are explained clearly.

Patient Testimonials

I must say, when I really needed Dr. Warfield, he showed up. I really appreciate his concern and support. Throughout my treatment he has consistently operated more like PCP Dr. than simply a pain management specialist. His bedside manner and the concern shown for my overall health has always been something that set him apart. The supportive office staff that surround him are second to none! Pain management can be a difficult scenario with many factors to navigate. Put your trust in a clinic who will guide you to a life free of pain, as well as, a freedom from dependency. Texas Intergrative Pain Institute is the ONLY choice for genuine, complete care. Ebonni Green-Owens

This was supposed to be a 5 star review. My first appointment with the Texas Integrative Pain Institute was the first week of February. It went really well. Dr Warfield and all of his staff were amazing...kind, compassionate, caring and so very sweet. Dr Warfield gave me hope and he said the office would call me to set up some procedures. I left that appointment so excited about finding an excellent Dr and possibly finding some relief from the chronic pain I've had since 2016. About a week later, the office called to tell me that Dr Warfield was working on getting my pain prescription going, as he'd never prescribed it before so they had to set it up in their system. That was totally fine as I still had a few weeks of my meds left to get me by. Since then, I have called them on Feb 28, Mar 18, Mar 25, Mar 30 and Apr 9, all with no one answering the phone or returning my messages or calls. I've not been able to actually speak with anyone there since they called me about my prescription in Feb. I have no idea what's going on. The last couple of messages I've left, I told them that I was still waiting for my procedure(s) to be scheduled, rationing my painkillers and I really needed someone, anyone, to call me back. I am also waiting to have gallbladder surgery and I can't schedule it until TIPI advises if they would prescribe my post-op medications or if the surgeon could. They haven't once called me since Feb. I'm on long term disability and my case manager sent a records request in Feb and Mar and she did confirm that someone at TIPI sent my records back to her on Mar 25 but for some unknown reason, they refuse to call me back! I'm really worried that my LTD will now be cut off as they were waiting for me to get treatments with TIPI before determining if I could stay on it or if they were going to cut me off. I have no idea what to do. I am unable to drive to his office to see if there is anyone there and my husband can't take time off right now to take me. We just moved here from Oregon and it's just him and I. I'm so extremely disappointed. My first (and only) appointment went so well, I don't understand what's happening. Tomorrow I'll be forced to find a new pain Doctor in Houston, which I really don't want to do but I'm almost out of my meds and need treatment and I have no other choice at this point. I hope no one else has to go through this incredibly disappointing experience.
